At Winstein, Kavensky & Cunningham, we were excited to host a special proclamation ceremony for the City of Rock Island to honor our team member Christine Keys’ daughter, Madison Keys.
As a native of Rock Island, Madison has brought great pride to her hometown by ranking as high as No. 5 in women’s singles by the Women’s Tennis Association and winning the Australian Open on January 25th, marking her first Grand Slam victory.
In recognition of her outstanding accomplishment in tennis, Mayor Mike Thoms officially proclaimed February 17th as Madison Keys Day.
In addition to her court achievements, Madison inspires others through her charitable efforts with Kindness Wins, an organization that promotes sportsmanship and mentorship.
