Stacey P. Olin

Stacey P. Olin received her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2015. She double majored in History and Communication and graduated with honors. While completing her undergraduate degree, Stacey attended the Centro Internacional de Estudios Superiores (CEGRI) in Granada, Spain to complete her minor in Spanish. 

Stacey attended law school at Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago, Illinois. While attending law school, Stacey competed as a member of the Moot Court Honors Society. Stacey also received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Trial Advocacy and Legal Writing. Upon graduation, Stacey was inducted into the Bar and Gavel Society, a peer-nominated award for graduating students who have distinguished themselves through their outstanding service to the law school, the community, and the legal profession. 

In 2019, she graduated cum laude from law school and was admitted to practice law in Illinois. 

Immediately after graduating from law school, Stacey worked at one of Chicago’s preeminent family law firms where she worked as a law clerk throughout law school. She gained invaluable knowledge and skills handling complex litigation matters concerning a variety of family law topics.  

Since relocating to western Illinois in 2021, Stacey continued to expand her family law practice.

Stacey has worked as a practicing attorney and Guardian Ad Litem in Illinois’ 9th and 14th Judicial Circuits. Stacey previously served as a mediator for the 9th Judicial Circuit of Illinois, having previously completed Northwestern University’s Mediation Certification Program. 

Stacey continues to concentrate on her practice in family law. Her practice specifically includes divorce, establishing or modifying parental rights and responsibilities, establishing or modifying support obligations, and guardianships for minors. Stacey is relentlessly devoted to helping guide her clients through difficult circumstances with empathy, integrity, and grit. 

In addition to practicing law, Stacey enjoys listening to country music and spending time with her loved ones, including her miniature dachshund, Koda. Stacey also serves as a Board Member of the Mercer County Family Crisis Center.
